Popular Fortnite streamer Ninja secured another massive deal, this time with Adidas which could be his biggest deal yet. While this is a big move for Ninja it is also a great opportunity for Adidas to push their brand into the Esports space.
Ninja teased the announcement in a tweet he posted on August 26 titled “It’s almost time” with a distorted and glitched video of him, which displayed a message at the end saying: “tomorrow 2pm ct.”

He confirmed the partnership in a post on Twitter and video he uploaded to his YouTube channel on August 27.
No shortcuts. Only long days. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams.
Choose your path. Put the TIME IN.

“I remember when people used to ask me whether I could actually make a career out of gaming. I remember when people used to tell me this would never be ‘real’. There are no shortcuts. Only long days. Never let anyone tell you that you can’t catch your dreams. Choose your path. Put the TIME IN. I’m humbled, and excited, to officially announce my partnership with Adidas.”
While he did not disclose the exact details about the partnership, during a stream on Mixer he told his viewers: “I can’t say specifically what is in the works with Adidas, but use your imagination.”
This is not Tyler’s first partnership with a big brand. He has done partnerships in the past, with Samsung promoting their Galaxy S10 exclusive K-Pop themed Fortnite skin and emote. He also has a long-running sponsorship deal with the energy drink company Red Bull.
This is the second big deal the Fortnite superstar has made this year. Blevins shocked the gaming community when he announced his departure from Twitch and inked a deal with Mixer, a direct competitor of Twitch.
The streamer has been making big money moves these past few weeks and from the looks of it, he has no plans of slowing down.
